My skin was dehydrated

I bought this moisturiser when my skin was in dire need of moisture boost. I had been battling with acne and its cohorts. After I had succeeded in keeping the acne at bay (somewhat), my skin became severely dry. It was so dehydrated that I felt like my skin cracked when I smiled or laughed, so I kept a glum face. Being the beauty enthusiast that I am, I knew that dry skin=ageing skin, and I certainly didn’t want my skin to age overnight. I use NCN Professional Skincare’s vitamin C serum, which I love so I thought I’d try an anti-ageing face moisturiser from the brand. Seeing that they had a couple of moisturisers, I got a little confused on which to purchase because I didn’t want a too heavy moisturiser that would clog my pores and cause me more breakouts.

After reading the product description, I decided to order this moisturiser and waited with bated breath for it to arrive. As soon as it arrived, I started using it morning and night, and after about a week, my face started to look and feel a little less dry. As the weeks wore on, my face improved a lot more, and it started to look more hydrated and plumped. Yay!

My thoughts and review

With this moisturiser, a little goes a long way and the 2 o.z. pot lasted me for months. The cream is rich without being greasy, and it didn’t break me out. It comes in a dark plastic container with a lid that you have to remove, which means that you have to dip your finger into the cream. I would say this is my only gripe as sticking your finger into your facial product can be unsanitary. I just ensure that my hands are clean before I dip in my finger to prevent it from being a breeding ground for germs.

This moisturiser has definitely become a staple product for me as it provides my facial skin with moisture and doesn’t clog my pores.
